Originally we developed Zooo for our own needs. Now we want to make it available to others. And where does the name "Zooo" come from? Well, Zooo is not a full-fledged browser. It can just do the necessary things. So its more like a petting zoo compared to Safari. But Zooo can zoooooom! So we got: Zooo ;-)
